Shampoo

A gentle, coconut-based cleansing shampoo built for daily use on all hair types and scalp conditions — dry, oily, sensitive, straight, curly, coily, thick, or fine. pH-balanced, scented with peppermint essential oil instead of synthetic fragrance. The Based Bodyworks philosophy: most scalp irritation (flakes, itching) comes from sulfates and synthetic fragrance in drugstore shampoos, so removing those keeps hair clean without stripping it. Safe for daily use and color-treated hair.

Hair Elixir

A silicone-free finishing oil positioned as a lightweight alternative to typical hair oils — it absorbs rather than sits on top, adding shine and taming frizz without weighing hair down. Works on fine hair (won't flatten it) and thick or coarse hair alike. Also functions as a heat protectant before blow-drying or hot tools, works on damp or dry hair, and is excellent for scrunching out gel casts on curly and coily hair. Concentrated — one pump per use, a bottle lasts roughly 4–6 months.

Curl Mousse

A lightweight, alcohol- and silicone-free mousse, especially good for fine or low-density curls needing volume without weight. Curl Gel

A maximum-hold gel marketed as flake- and residue-free, unlike drugstore gels that use PVP or acrylate polymers. Forms a cast as it dries; scrunch out for soft, defined curls. Gentle enough for color-treated, keratin-treated, or permed hair.

Sea Salt Spray
